One of the last things I painted in was the unpaved road on the top of the range. The very next day, they paved it over with Black-top. The same thing happened at another time with the "Hooper Road" painting. I took the photo to paint that beautiful view. The very next day they paved it over with Black-top. I had been wanting to get a shot of it for months so I could paint it., Timing can be so crazy and sublime.
